Top Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Qatar: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of top navigation and maps applications on iOS in Qatar showed varied trends across downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 2.4K and peaking at 3.6K by the end of December. The app maintained a solid user base, with weekly active users rising from approximately 60K to 64K by the quarter's end.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a gradual rise in downloads, reaching 1.6K in the last week of December. However, weekly active users showed a decline from 66K to 58K over the quarter.

Google Earth had a modest download rate, fluctuating around 400 downloads per week. Active users remained consistent, hovering between 1.1K and 1.2K.

Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS generated a notable weekly revenue, peaking at $1.6K in late December. Downloads fluctuated slightly, with a notable increase to 283 in the week of December 23. Active users remained stable, ending the quarter at about 600.

Speedometer 55 GPS Speed & HUD maintained a stable download rate around 200 per week, with active users increasing from 800 to 878 by the end of December.
